"The Steel Hammer" nails Chambers in the 12th !!!

IBF and WBO heavyweight champion Wladimir “The Steel Hammer” Klitschko, improved his record to (54-3, 48 KO’s), with a dominating performance over “Fast” Eddie Chambers in Germany.  Chambers showed moments of heart early on, and even showed that he was not going to be bullied by picking up Klitschko and slamming him to the canvas.  Klitschko controlled the pace for most of the fight with his jab and straight right hands, and even stunned Chambers in the second round with a big shot on the chin.  In the final round......

Sam Peter Kos Nagy in 2!!

Former Heavyweight Champion Samuel "The Nigerian Nightmare" Peter looked like the version of Samuel Peter that made him a instant fight fan favorite by savagely knocking out Nagy Aguilera(15-3 10KOS) in the second round of a title eliminator on Friday night at the Gaylord Texan hotel. Peter (34-3, 27 KOs), the former WBC Heavyweight Champion wasted no time attacking Nagy as he unleashed a mean right hand to the head of Nagy that had him out on his feet. Moments later one of my favorite referees Lawrence Cole stepped in during Peter's punishing follow-up assault that left Aguilera dazed against the ropes. Cole isn't Mills Lane by no means but it seems like everytime he's the ref in a fight...somebody gets knocked out cold. One of Peter's problems over the years has been his conditioning. That wasn't the case this time. Peter looked strong and very lean. Coming in muscled at 237 lbs. this was a night and day version of what we last saw Peter weigh when he looked awful and unmotivated when he weighed 265 when he lost to Eddie Chambers last March......

Wladimir Klitschko to Fight Eddie Chambers

Wladimir Klitschko will defend his heavyweight titles against American challenger Eddie Chambers in March. Chambers a slick and very skilled boxer from Pennsylvania will definitely have his hands full against the one they call "THE STEEL HAMMER". First of all he's giving up nearly five inches in height and about 40 lbs in weight and the fight his going to take place on Klitschko's home turf in Germany.
