Wladimir Klitschko will defend his heavyweight titles against American challenger Eddie Chambers in March. Chambers a slick and very skilled boxer from Pennsylvania will definitely have his hands full against the one they call "THE STEEL HAMMER". First of all he's giving up nearly five inches in height and about 40 lbs in weight and the fight his going to take place on Klitschko's home turf in Germany.

When the word of the cancellation of the big fight on January 30th,2010 between Shane Mosley and Andre Berto first came to my attention...my first reaction was that this was yet another blow to the sport of boxing. Not to mention the fact that I was looking forward to my stay in my Media Suite at the "Fabulous Mandalay Bay" and hopefully seeing myself on HBO since I got me some great seats ringside. That's until I found out why.....the tragic news of WBC champion Andre Berto losing at least 8 members of his family during the devastating earthquake that shook his homeland of Haiti in the days prior. This couldn't have happened at a worse time for Berto just weeks before the biggest fight of his life against future Hall of Famer Shane Mosley. I can't say I blame Berto because quite frankly I don't know how anyone can get in the ring and fight anyone...especially Shane Mosley after such a tragedy like that.

Pound for Pound king Manny Pacquiao has agreed to fight….Joshua Clottey not Floyd Mayweather on March 13th in Dallas at Cowboys Stadium. What a turn in events. Despite the possibility of making the biggest fight in boxing history, the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao fell threw over pre fight Olympic style testing which means both fighters would have to subject themselves to random blood testing up to the day of the fight. Pacquiao refused such demands and has decided to take on the very dangerous Clottey of Ghana who is a former champion in the division and many thought he defeated Miguel Cotto when they met prior to his fight with the PacMan. Clottey will enter the ring as the bigger man and is a natural welterweight who can be a handful for any fighter.
