Emmitt Woods in impressive fashion by controlling the pace of the fight and
firing his shots at will, as his opponent...........
Former Notre Dame star and Top Rank Boxing Light Heavyweight prospect Mike Lee picked up his first win as a pro by defeating Emmitt Woods by Unanimous Decision in front of a crowd full of supporters at Chicago's UIC Pavilion. Lee showed natural athleticism using movement and combinations to outwork an over matched Woods. Lee’s right hand was on display as he staggered a game Woods early and often nearly stopping him in the final round. Lee is slated to return to the ring July 24th at the Palms in Las Vegas, Nevada and he and World Class Trainer Ronnie Shields have solid chemistry and plan on hitting camp again shortly. Lee seems to have loads of potential, has already developed a solid fan base and the sky is the limit for him. Expect big things from him in the future. You heard it here first.
