Ok….I had a little time to think about this one so I guess now was a good time to let y’all know what the GC thinks. First off I can’t even get a haircut or go about a good full hour without somebody asking me about the mega fight that everybody wants to see between Floyd "Money" Mayweather and Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao, so when news of Pacquiao and Margarito broke, you could probably hear the phrase “Hell nawwww!!!” in just about every home on earth at the same time. Well everyone except Antonio Margarito’s. He probably did a summersault. So let me get this straight, Margarito actually gets rewarded for getting suspended a whole year for trying to become a construction worker by loading bricks in his gloves intentionally (allegedly) before getting a can opened up on him by Shane Mosley? Man that’s that bullshit! You mean to tell me this is the best fight that could’ve been made? Yea I know Mayweather- Pacquiao is the one fight everybody wants to see, but the second I saw the “deadline” I didn’t think there was a fight getting made, well at least not this year anyway.
Now overall though this is still not the worst fight in the world because bricks or no bricks Margarito is still a threat. The former champion must have really been doing a ton of praying while he was suspended for a year, because he’s getting a shot of a lifetime few thinks he’s earned or deserved. Margarito was THE MAN two summers ago. He ran through the force formerly known as Cotto and was the king of the Welterweight throne. At about 6 feet tall he’s a rangy guy who has built his rep on throwing a ton of punches every round and having a granite chin. This has the recipe for disaster because I’m hearing a lot of folks just bypassing this as an automatic W for Pacquiao. Don’t get it twisted Pacman is a beast and he should win….but there’s a good chance he can lose. He’s ain’t fighting Clottey this time. Just sayn. How many folks would’ve honestly picked Pacman overall Margarito two summers ago, and be serious. And what’s up with all this catchweight stuff all of a sudden. I know boxing has had its share of catchweight bouts and this is nothing new, but I hope this doesn’t start a trend. Weight classes are weight classes for a reason.
I know there are some fans furious at the fact that this fight is even being made. I mean I can’t blame you. I wanted to see the two top guys in the world go at it now myself. One thing I don’t care about is about whose fault it is it didn’t get made yet. All this he say he say stuff is getting old. Believe me…as long as Pacman takes care of biz…MAYWEATHER WILL FIGHT PACQUIAO. This may come as a shock to some because it somewhat caught me by surprise. I was watching ESPN the other day and on FIRST TAKE it broke down the list of the Top Ten highest paid athletes in all sports including endorsements. Besides Tiger, and Phil Mickelson there isn’t any athlete on earth that makes more bread a year than Floyd. That means ARod, Shaq, even LeBron are below him and there was no other boxer on the list. With this much bread on the table you better believe Floyd wants that money, he just doesn’t need it right now. Maybe he’s really on vacation and on serious chill mode. I know I would coming off that last W.

I am puzzled? At this point in time I can't explain why Mayweather hasn't come to agreement? I heard someone say it's because Roger ain't around not sure if this is true or not? Who knows all I know is Mayweather is a master at playing mind games!
